Creative Writing Workshop
Sign up for QuaranTEEN's Weekly Creative Writing Course/Workshop, designed for teenagers ages 10+. The QuaranTEEN Writing Workshop will be a blend of free writing and creative writing lessons, taught by Praguni Kumar, an experienced teen writer who is passionate about sharing her crafts with the world and building a community of young writers. During the Creative Writing Course, Praguni will be providing the attendees with skills and tips on journalism and blogging. She’ll be talking about ways you can make your writing more efficient, tips for outlining, methods of characterization, elements of a story, creative non-fiction, short story writing, poetry, and there will also be sessions where she will be announcing a theme and/or prompt on which everyone will be writing about ( in any form ) and at the end discuss how we can enhance our writing and suggestions will be given. This workshop is intended to be fun while simultaneously educative and informative.

Guitar Playing Workshop
Want to learn guitar but don't know how to begin? This is the perfect course for you! You will be mastering the basics of the guitar through learning pop songs like “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift and “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. By the end of this course, you will know basic chords and strumming patterns, and also have the skills necessary to continue learning on your own! No previous guitar or music experience is required, just a guitar and the willingness to learn!

Knitting Workshop
In this workshop, the attendees will be learning the basics of how to knit a scarf, how to knit a blanket and all the skills that you need to start knitting other projects as well. This is a super flexible and open course, and the material can change depending on the amount of interest: If there are any other projects you would like to make, feel free to tell the event coordinator, Angelica Edillo, about them and she will try her best to incorporate the project into the lessons!

Bipartisan Advocacy Workshop
The Equal Rights Amendment, an amendment that would make all laws gender-neutral, has not passed to this day. The #MeToo movement has led 50% of our population to be more skeptical of sexual assault accusations. The Bipartisan Advocacy Program provided through QuaranTEEN and the Bipartisan Feminist Project will enable you to be a part of the solution to this divide. The Bipartisan Feminist Project is the first organization in the U.S. dedicated to bridging the partisan divide over feminism, and this program will teach students about various perspectives of pro-women legislation, how to debate these positions, and how to develop their own advocacy campaigns for pro-women legislation.

Sewing Workshop
Ever wanted to make your own accessories and clothing? This course contains three sessions where you’ll learn how to sew your very own scrunchies, bucket hats, and finally, a shirred crop top with tie straps!
We’ll take you through step-by-step instruction, so it’s suitable for everyone, including beginners! You’ll learn how to sew, how to use elastic, how to shirr fabric, as well as basic garment construction. You will need a sewing machine for this course.

High School Writing Workshop
Bored this quarantine? Looking for something new to learn? How about developing a new hobby? Join Introductory Guide to Writing: High School Edition Workshop! It is a writing workshop that will run through eight sessions. Each session will tackle different topics varying from Creative Writing, Creative Nonfiction, and Journalism. Climate Change Course
Course Description: The climate change course will guide and inform teens about what exactly climate change is, what causes climate change, and why it is so important to care about. The participants will also be taught the definition of sustainability and include simple tips to help them live a more sustainable lifestyle, as well as numerous fun climate change related activities. High School Survival Guide Workshop
QuaranTEEN's High School Workshop will act as your personal high school survival guideline, teaching you anything and everything you need to know about high school, whether that's grades, sports, time management/balance, workouts, social skills, and so much more! The attendees will receive advice, lessons, tips and tricks, and also discussion time to chat and learn about one another and our high school experiences. This workshop is designed for incoming and current high schoolers, and is meant to be informative and super fun!

Coding Workshop
QuaranTEEN's Computer Science course will discuss different CS topics, the latest tech news and techniques, then the attendees will have a coding session with python or C++. The session will include an explanation for the material, fun & creative workshops to let the participants apply what the attendees learn, and loads of fun. Farah, the host, will give them simple assignments to practice what they have learned, and we're promising the assignments will not be boring. After this course, the participants will be able to understand CS, have an intermediate level of coding and problem-solving.
Creating Presentations (Visme) Course
Sign up for QuaranTEEN's Weekly Presentations Course, designed for teenagers ages 11+. The QuaranTEEN Presentation Workshop will be all about using Visme to make cool, simple, and classy presentations, reports, and other visual graphics. This will be taught by Lehar Marata a very friendly and kind high-school sophomore who is passionate about using computers to communicate digitally. She has had her hands on computers since elementary school! During the Visme Course, Lehar will be providing the attendees with tips and tricks, demonstrations to make presentations, reports, animations, social media graphics, etc. She will be teaching you to easily get your way around Visme with the basic (free) plan to make amazing digital graphics. This workshop is intended to be fun while simultaneously educative and informative.

Teen Vibe Night
Let’s get together to hang out and connect with each other during these troubled times! QuaranTEEN's Chill Sundays/ Teen Vibe Nights are a great opportunity to make new friends, expand your perspective and get to know people from across the globe. During Chill Sundays, we'll be doing a number of fun activities and icebreakers that can help us get to know each other and have fun, for example, we will be watching movies and holding trivia contests on them afterwards. We will also be having discussions about relevant teen topics- Is there anything you are afraid to ask the peers around you? Join us in our Teen Talking event where we can talk about any problems you may be struggling with and connect with others that share similar issues. During these events, we will also be playing games, such as Skribbl.io and scavenger hunts!

High School Q&A
Nervous about high school? Don't worry- we got your back! QuaranTEEN's High School Q&A is designed for middle schoolers/incoming high school freshmen and even current high schoolers, to teach you everything you need to know about the various aspects of high school: time management, the workload, focusing on yourself, competitiveness, and friendships in high school are some of the topics which will be spoken about at the session. The panelists will share their experiences and answer any questions that you may have about high school! There will be activities/games so everyone can connect and relate with each other and an open floor for anyone that wants to share their experiences, or give any advice.
Featuring 3 High School Senior/Alumni Panelists:
1. Yasmin Kettani: Yasmin is a Blog Writer and Event Coordinator here at QuaranTEEN. She is a rising senior from Woodbridge Senior High School with a passion for theatre, writing, and global studies. Yasmin is very excited to share her knowledge on a plethora of high school related topics to entertain and educate incoming high schoolers!
2. Atty Ehui: Atty Ehui, a junior in high school, is a very studious person with a unique personality. She loves making friends and meeting new people. Atty is a skilled multitasker, and throughout her high school experience, she maintained straight A's while playing three sports each year, (dance, track, and basketball), as well as taking numerous amounts of honors and AP courses. Atty is an expert on time management, and she is super excited to share her advice with the world!
3. Bishakha Khatri: Bishakha, a junior in high school, is a bubbly person who loves music and songwriting, constantly trying to figure out who she is and what she wants to be. She loves interacting with new people, and is always ready for new experiences. One of her favorite parts about high school are the different clubs, and she greatly enjoys trying different kinds of foods.

Mental Health Talk
Sign up for QuaranTEEN's Mental Health Talk to learn about various concepts relating to mental health, meet other teenagers and make friends, and have group discussions about anything and everything mental health related! This event will be led by Praguni Kumar and Bishakha Khatri, two high schoolers passionate about educating teens on the importance of mental health and staying connected.

Teen Minecraft Gaming Event
This will be a fun, chill, 2-hour Minecraft event for teenagers who want to meet new people all over the world and just have an exciting time playing Minecraft. School can be quite stressful at times, but it is also equally as important to have some time for yourself to stop studying and doing homework, and instead, play Minecraft (which can be a pretty relaxing but exciting game to play). This event will take place through Discord, and the attendees will be playing mini-games such as Hunger Games or Sky Wars on different servers (Mineplex/Hypixel/etc), or playing in survival worlds and defeating Ender Dragons. (There are lots of games/mini-games in Minecraft, so we can definitely shoot out a poll for what people want to play!) This event is meant to be fun and exciting, and also a chance to make long-lasting connections: be ready to converse virtually (whether speaking on the call, or typing in the chat) with other teenagers on this Discord server!
