LIVING
Nothing is impossible. Healing is possible. You can heal all by yourself. Or maybe with
someone’s help, but it can surely be done. Don’t be harsh to your mind; to yourself.
Be kind to yourself. Your heart will never intentionally make decisions to hurt you. It
only chooses the path which you truly wish to take but what it doesn’t take into
account is the immense amount of pain and sufferings that that option carries with
itself. Your mind instead thinks about every step you take and what all comes along
with it. It is therefore, up to us whom we wish to listen to. Are we ready to accept
the heart’s decision and go through a thick bush of thorns? Or do we want to listen
to our minds and achieve something less great but with limited sufferings? What
comes along with both these options is the after thought of how we are going to
recover if we break down during either of the phases. The life we are living now can
be a dream for those who are fighting battles daily.
“Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced”- Soren
Kierkegaard.
What I understand by this is that the challenges we face are not to show us our
weaknesses but to test how strong we are to fight through them. Experience only
helps us become a better person. To be able to unfold the various mysteries that lie
before us. Just like it’s said; you gotta put up with the sun if you want the rainbow.
What if there are a few bad days? Better ones always follow them. Why be down
because of one thing when there are hundred better reasons to shine brighter? Take
every challenge as an opportunity to prove your worth. You will come across many
people who have given up on their lives because of something they couldn’t do. But
weren’t there hundreds of other chances for them to do something even greater? Do
you wanna look back in time and feel bad for the chances you missed for doing
something great? Or do you want to make the present worth it so that you don’t
have to look back in the future?
So wake up every morning with a new aim. Not of achieving something. But of living.
Cause in the end, we only regret the chances that we didn’t take.
