Easy Cinnamon Latte

Writer's picture: evaasernasevaasernas

Hello everyone! I wanted to share one of my favorite coffee recipes, a cinnamon latte. It’s perfect for the Fall season and it is perfect if you want to make a fun drink at home, instead of running to Starbucks. The latte is sweet with hints of cinnamon, and you can serve it hot or iced! :)

Read Below For Recipe :

Ingredients

For the latte (makes two)

½ cup of espresso or strong coffee

2 cups of milk ( I use almond milk )

¼ cup of cinnamon sugar syrup ( recipe below )

Whipped cream and cinnamon for garnish ( optional )

For the cinnamon sugar syrup (makes one cup):

¾ cup of white sugar

¼ cup of brown sugar

½ cup of water

1 tsp. of cinnamon

Instructions

To make the syrup:

Start by gathering all of your ingredients, from the recipe above ^^ . Combine all of the ingredients into a saucepan, over medium heat, and allow mixture to begin to boil. Once it begins to boil, stir the mixture until all of the sugar has dissolved. This will take around five minutes. Once the sugar has dissolved, allow the mixture to cool and transfer it into a container.  It is now ready to use!  You can keep it in the fridge for a few weeks.

To make the latte:

Pour your milk and your cinnamon syrup into a small saucepan. Turn the stove to low heat and stir gently for about five minutes. You want the milk and the syrup to combine. Once it’s ready, pour the mixture into two cups. Divide your coffee into two parts, and pour it over the milk mixture. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon. Now you have two delicious lattes, one for you and one for a friend! Enjoy. :)
